What does Pingerer check?
Whether your site answers (HTTP, keyword, ping or port checks), when your SSL certificate and domain registration expire, whether your DNS records change, and whether your email setup (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) is right. Heartbeats watch the jobs that should run on a schedule, like backups.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The free plan watches 1 domain with every kind of check, has no time limit and doesn't ask for a card. Upgrade when you want more domains, faster checks or more people on your team. After that you pay per domain.
How do you avoid false alarms?
When a check fails, Pingerer checks again before it tells you, from other regions on plans that have more than one. One slow response or a blip on the network doesn't wake you up.
Where do alerts go?
Email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, webhooks and SMS. Choose which sites go to which channel, add quiet hours and escalate when nobody responds.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Paste your site's address and we start checking from outside, like your customers do. Heartbeats need one line added to your job, and the CLI is optional.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the Billing page and your account moves to the free plan at the end of the period you paid for. Nothing is deleted.
